Although we love our furry friends we ask that our visitors leave any/all pets at home. 

We suggest that you wear comfortable and breathable clothing such as exercise attire. As you hike up the hillside your body temperature will fluctuate as a result of the physical exertion and outside temperatures. Also we suggest you wear closed toe shoes with some grip at the bottom to ensure you have the best traction when crossing over the rocks.

The hike is extremely safe. The island does not have any large predatory animals . We maintain our paths and take extra precautions to remove any wasp/hornets nests and poison ivy. Our only ask is that you never venture off path. We cannot promise that you will not encounter these things should you choose to deviate. 

Drink plenty of water the day before to ensure you are well hydrated, eat healthy meals and get plenty of rest. If you have any medical conditions related to allergies or asthma please be sure to bring the items necessary to combat any flare ups. 

We like to keep our eyes on the skies. Should any weather occur that could otherwise pose a risk to our hikers we will extend the offer to reschedule hikes or provide guests with a refund. Please be sure to do your part and check the local weather before booking.

Absolutely, we have land turtles on our property who have come to love the healthy snack our guests provide. Please be sure to speak with on site staff about options. However, we ask that you do not feed the monkeys, they are currently our unwelcome house guests.

Currently, we are in the process of establishing our POS system for our International visitors to ensure all card transactions are safe, secure and accounted for. As of current we will only be taking payments in cash.

Please note that you may cancel your online reservation for no charge before 11:59PM local time at least 2 days prior to your scheduled hike. Cancelations within 48hrs of a hike will be subject to cancelation fees. Cancelations within 24hrs of a hike or same day will not be refunded. These conditions apply to all hikes. Breakfast hikes are non-refundable and will only receive a partial refund if canceled 3 days in advance prior to the event.

Unfortunately our trails are not accessible. Much of the property is on a slope so it would not be advisable for individuals with physical (visible/invisible) barriers to access our trails. You are more than welcomed to relax beneath our pavilion if you choose to venture slightly up the path. Please consult your physician if you have any concerns impacting your medical health.
